Sunrise Elopement in Yosemite | Josslyn and Angel

Have you ever been to Yosemite and thought “this would be the perfect place for our sunrise elopement?”
Well Josslyn and Angel had just that thought! Why not wake up before the sun and drive in to Yosemite and have the most magical elopement while the sun rose? It’s perfect! Everyone should have a sunrise elopement in Yosemite.

We started with Josslyn doing her hair and makeup at around 1 am so we could leave the airbnb by 330 and be at Taft Point by 5 for the 520 sunrise.
Makeup by Charissa did an amazing job with the hair and makeup!

Handwritten by Cat also did AMAZING with the stationary and the calligraphy ribbons on the florals!

How’s that for a first kiss?

Their close friends and family snuck in to the park early to watch the elopement, then headed out while we took some couple photos at Taft Point, and then we headed down into the valley.

After spending some time at Taft Point, we headed down to Yosemite Valley, with a quick stop at the Tunnel View overlook for some breathtaking photos.

I can’t get over these flowers and calligraphy ribbons.

Angel happened to have a sword that had “groom” on the hilt. He had given matching swords to his groomsmen with their names on the hilts as well! How unique and so cool.

What’s an elopement in Yosemite without a fun jeep to ride around in?
