You’ll have to excuse my lack of posts! I’ve been super busy since… well…. the holidays!
Thanksgiving and Christmas are crazy by themselves, but then add trying to plan a “shoot out”, and you have one busy photographer!
What is a shoot out, you might ask? It’s when a bunch of photographers get together at a location, and have a styled shoot, with food and models and flowers, etc…Now, Amber of Amber Lynn Photography was coming down from the Central Coast for a wedding, and sparked this idea! Then I decided to take the reins (which my husband keeps telling me I shouldn’t due, since I get stressed) and I started planning! I had lots of help from fellow photographers who contributed props, backdrops, clothing, etc… I couldn’t have done it with out them!
We had 2 couples and one “bride,” and we actually had a fellow photographer, Christine, jump in a dress for a few photos! I’m so glad my friends are cooperative and like having their picture taken! They’re all gorgeous and make for awesome photos!
But enough of my talking! Here’s the photos!
Candice Mineau of Petals Floral Design made the beautiful arrangements, flower crowns, bouquets.. really all the flowers. And she did a magnificent job!
My mother in law, Linda Ezell, made our delicious macarons, and let me tell you, this lady can bake! I would have thrown them away.. But she kept trying and made AWESOME macarons. Seriously. So good.
Amber made the invitations and stationary, and I just love the pop of pink and gold! So beautiful with our colour scheme!
I decided to be crazy, and I styled the table, brought all the details together, and did hair and makeup. Crazy? I think yes.
All in all, we had the best time, and I’m so excited for the shoot I’m putting together in April!
