San Diego Wedding Photographer | Scripps Seaside Forum | Marissa and Rachel

I am so SO excited to share Marissa and Rachel’s wedding photos. I had been looking forward to their San Diego wedding at the Scripps Seaside Forum all year! The added the perfect touches of tropical vibrancy to their beach side wedding, and it could not have been more perfect.

Marissa and Rachel started the day off getting ready at an airbnb in La Jolla, a cute little split level where Rachel was upstairs and Marissa was downstairs. Trying to keep them separated before the first look was a little challenging, but worth it in the end!
Marissa wore a stunning strapless dress with a minimal train and intricate detail work.
Rachel wore a deep green custom suit jacket with black pants to have a little contrast.

After their sweet first look in the backyard, Marissa and Rachel exchanged gifts, with Rachel getting an elegant watch, and Marissa getting a beautiful bracelet. We then took some couple photos and wedding party photos in the yard before heading over to the venue!

Petr with the Abbey Catering and Design did and amazing job setting up the ceremony space. Scripps Seaside Forum is perfect for overlooking the ocean during your wedding!

Both Rachel and Marissa had mixed wedding parties made up of friends and family. The coral color of the skirts paired perfectly with the bouquets the held.

After we took some quick couple photos on the beach, it was time to head up to the ceremony!
Luckily, the sun decided to break through the clouds and warm us all.

We headed back down for a few sunset photos, before starting the party at the reception!

I am so thankful Marissa and Rachel chose us to photograph their wedding! We had the best time at the wedding, and everyone felt like an old friend. I can’t wait to be able to go back to Scripps for another wedding!
