We were up early on a Saturday, and in for a long day of learning and photography. Brooke and her husband Sean are actually the photographers for our upcoming wedding. So I figured, if I like them enough to have them take my pictures, I should learn from them.
I have been in awe of Brooke’s fantastic work since I first met her a few years ago. She has inspired me and made me want to take better pictures; what better way than picking her brain and attending her workshop! We learned exactly how to set our cameras to catch the dreamiest of light, how to edit a ton of photos in under an hour (which usually takes me forever and 4 days) and how to make the subject of our photos feel comfortable.
Ted and Alexandra, who at the time were merely a cute couple straight out of romance-land, were the most photogenic people I have ever met. it surprised me, since Ted himself is a phenomenal photographer (check him out HERE), and photographers never like to have pictures taken. I’m pretty sure this shoot made them fall in love even more, and inspired them to pursue a lifetime together, since a few weeks afterwards Ted decided to propose to his gorgeous lady. 🙂
Regina, our little flower moon-child, loved to frolic in the forest, and show off her cute kicks. She is the epitome of a young sprite, and is absolutely stunning. Every other picture we took of her had her gorgeous smile, and we couldn’t help but be in awe of her beauty, especially when her and Alexandra decided to pair up and smolder away at our cameras.
Enough of my rambling; have some pretty pictures!
And who could forget the lovely Regina:
And who doesn’t love some gorgeous details?
Thank you to everyone involved with making this workshop a wonderful success!
with all the photos on their site taken by Brooke.
